BUSY DAY EXPECTED AT LOCAL POLLING STATIONS
6/7/2018 6:53:58 AM

Thousands and thousands of voters in the Peterborough-Kawartha Riding will be taking time out of their day to go and cast a ballot.

With the possibility of long line-ups at some spots in the city and county, Returning Officer Ted Boynton told us when things really start to pick-up.

When it comes to turnout, Boynton says Peterborough is typically on-par with the rest of Ontario.

The polls close at 9 p.m.

Voters are reminded to bring their Voter Information Card and one piece of identification.

This time around, there are 124 seats at Queen's Park, up from 107 in 2014.
