COUNCILLORS SUPPORT LOWERING THE SPEED LIMIT ON PART OF HUNTER STREET
6/7/2018 5:19:16 AM
It looks like the speed limit is being lowered on a stretch of Hunter Street.
At General Committee last night, councillors supported a plan to drop the limit from 50 to 40 kilometres an hour between Burnham Street and Ashburnham Drive.
The issue was addressed in part because of an accident in November, where a 10 year-old student from King George Public School was hit.
The plan will go for formal approval at a future meeting of council.
