SELWYN LEADS SUCCESSFUL BID TO DEVELOP A RURAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICE
5/11/2018 6:08:12 AM

It soon may be easier to get around the Township of Selwyn.

The province is giving the township 1.48 million dollars over five years through its Community Transportation Grant Program.

The money will help with the development of plans to provide regular transportation service between Bridgenorth, Curve Lake, Ennismore and Lakefield, slated to begin spring 2019.

Routes will also be planned to coordinate with the City of Peterborough transit system which will provide users with improved access to locations throughout the City and inter-regional connectivity, whether through the GO Transit or Greyhound Transit Services.
