5/10/2018 7:47:46 AM

Trent has named a former Peterborough Laker the new head coach of its lacrosse team.

Mark Farthing will take over the program.

During his career as a player he won two Mann Cups as a member of the Peterborough Lakers, two titles at the Baggataway Cup as a student athlete at Brock University, took home the Canadian Lacrosse League Creator's Cup, and had the honour of playing for the Toronto Rock in the National Lacrosse League.

Farthing, who was the assistant coach of the team this past year, will start his role as head coach this May for a one-year term.
