ELECTION SEASON ARRIVES IN PETERBOROUGH-KAWARTHA

The provincial election campaign is off and running in the Peterborough-Kawartha riding.

Local candidates began putting up lawn signs yesterday.

In the area, there are six people vying to become the next MPP: Liberal incumbent Jeff Leal, Tory Dave Smith, New Democrat Sean Conway, Gianne Broughton of the Green Party, Jake Currier representing the Libertarian Party and Rob Roddick of the Trillium Party.

Voters will go to the polls on June 7th.
