A Special Weather Statement remains in effect with some wintery weather on the way for the weekend.
Peter Kimball of Environment Canada says we'll start to feel some of the effects of a system late today.
He says they're still unsure how much will be freezing rain, and how much will snow, but says there is the possibility of ice accumulations of freezing rain.
Kimball adds that system is wide spread across the province, so motorists should consider travel plans in advance.
The Otonabee Region Conservation Authority has issued a Flood Watch.
