LOCAL SCHOOLS, WORKPLACES TAKE PART IN 'JERSEY DAY'

Kids and adults from across the country, and beyond, will be showing their ongoing support for the Humboldt Broncos by wearing jerseys or wearing green/yellow.
A group of hockey parents in BC started the hashtag #JerseysforHumboldt, which then led to a nationwide phenomenon being called 'Jersey Day'.
Local students with the Catholic school board will be taking part according to Communications Manager Galen Eagle.
Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board Director of Education Jennifer Leclair says public students will also be encouraged to participate.
The employees of Mortlock Construction will also be looking sporty today according to owner Craig Mortlock.

Last night, it was announced athletic therapist, 24 year-old Dayna Brons, died of her injuries in hospital.
She is the 16th death as a result of Friday's horrific team-bus crash in rural Saskatchewan.
