PROVINCE PASSES ROWAN'S LAW
3/13/2018 6:20:13 AM

The province has passed legislation aimed at protecting amateur athletes and making sports safer for students.

In what is being called 'Rowan's Law' (Concussion Safety), requirements such as an annual review of concussion awareness and how coaches and educators can identify and manage concussions will be brought into effect.

We spoke with Peterborough Petes Trainer, Brian Miller.

Rowan's Law was named in honour of Rowan Stringer, a 17 year-old rugby player that passed away from sustaining multiple concussions.
