3/9/2018 3:57:11 AM

The Senate of Canada has delayed Bill C-46, which proposed driving limits on cannabis and other drugs along with roadside testing.

The bill was passed in the House of Commons and remained in the Senate since November.

MADD Canada is supporting the legislation though are disappointed with the delay. CEO Andrew Murie says the bill needs to be passed as there is a growing drug problem.

The organization is calling for the Senate to move forward with Bill C-46 as Cannabis legalization comes into effect this summer.
