BRADY STOPS LEGAL CHALLENGE AGAINST CASINO LOCATION
3/7/2018 5:03:53 AM

A court application launched against a city rezoning that made way for Shorelines Casino Peterborough has been dropped.

The Examiner reports local activist Roy Brady is stopping his challenge of the rezoning of land on Crawford Drive and The Parkway.

Brady argued the site was selected during a closed door meeting in 2015, something he claims was illegal.

Construction on the casino began in September and it's expected to open this year.
