HAVELOCK-BELMONT-METHUEN TO GET $187,000 IN FUNDING 1/10/2018 9:50:17 AM
The federal government is handing over some money in Peterborough County.
MP for Peterborough-Kawartha Maryam Monsef announced yesterday Havelock-Belmont-Methuen will get $187,114 in funding.
The figure includes $49,600 from the Municipal Asset Management Program along with $137,514 via the 2017-18 Gas Tax Fund allocation.
Monsef says the money will give the township a boost.
The Municipal Asset Management Program is a five-year, $50 million program that helps municipalities across the country strengthen infrastructure investment decisions.
