LOCAL OFFICIALS PUT OUT FIRE SAFETY TIPS
1/9/2018 7:00:44 AM

Four people have died as a result of a house fire in Oshawa this week.

Officials say 11 people lived in the three-story building and two adults and two children lost their lives as a result of the blaze. While crews are still working to identify the cause, its a good reminder to be ready in case of a fire.

We recently spoke with Amanda Nichols from the Peterborough Fire Services.

She says if there is smoke in the home, get down and get low and meet your family at the designated meeting place. Meanwhile, a GoFundMe page has been set up for three of the victims, a mother and her two children.
