PETES TRADE ANG FOR YOUNGER PROSPECT 1/8/2018 1:33:23 PM
The Petes have made a move leading up to the OHL trade deadline on Wednesday.
Earlier this morning, General Manager Mike Oke announced that he dealt veteran forward Jonathan Ang to the Sarnia Sting in exchange for winger Brady Hinz and a second round pick in 2020 and a third round pick in 2022.
Hinz is described at 5'8" 160lbs and has 18 goals, 35 assists for 53 points and 12 PIMS in a season and a half with Sarnia.
Oke says he's a player they've had their eye on for some time
He says by picking up Hinz, they add a player who has already been productive at the OHL level.
Hinz will be on the ice with the Petes on Thursday when the Guelph Storm come to town at 7pm.
