MINISTER OF SENIORS AFFAIRS MAKES ANNOUNCEMENT IN PETERBOROUGH
12/7/2017 7:12:19 AM

The latest census data shows there are more people over 65 in Ontario than under 15, so better support for seniors needs to be a top priority.

Yesterday, the province announced details of a new program to recognize municipalities and organizations that have created inclusive and accessible communities.

Minister of Seniors Affairs, Dipika Damerla, spoke in Peterborough.

Submissions for the new Age-Friendly Community Recognition Award will be accepted until February 2nd.
