PETES FORWARD LOOKING TO SHOW HIS SKILLS TO TEAM CANADA BRASS

Petes forward Jonathan Ang has an opportunity to represent his country on the biggest stage in all of junior hockey.

Ang, along with 31 others, have been invited to take part in Team Canada's Development Camp leading up to the World Junior Hockey Championships in Buffalo over the Christmas holidays.

He says he got a call about a day or so ago and is looking forward to the opportunity to show what he can do

    The Florida Panthers draft pick has registered 14 goals, 19 assists, 33 points, and 55 penalty minutes in 28 games with the Petes and currently tied for the lead league in shorthanded goals with 3.

    Hull, a former World Junior gold medal winner had some advice for Ang going into camp next week

   

Ang now joins other notable Petes who wore the Maple Leaf at the World Juniors such as Steve Downie, Cameron Mann, Chris Pronger, Mike Ricci, and Steve Yzerman. You can find a complete list of Petes who played in the World Junior Hockey Championships here
