CHANGES COULD BE COMING TO CITY COUNCIL CYCLE
12/5/2017 6:58:03 AM
There could be a major change coming to Monday night's at City Hall.
Staff is exploring the idea of beefing up council agendas in order to make one or two Mondays free each month to allow residents more time to learn about issues between meetings.
City clerk John Kennedy explains.
The change from the current three-week council cycle received preliminary approval last night.
Under the new recommendations, meetings would also start at 5:30 p.m. and not 6:30 and agendas would be posted on Thursday and not Friday.
