PETERBOROUGH TOP COP READY TO CALL IT A CAREER
10/10/2017 4:58:44 PM

June 30th will mark the end of a 35 year career in policing for Chief Murray Rodd.

Rodd says he issued his letter of intent to retire at the last Police Services Board meeting.

He says he didn't have to look too far outside of his own family to decide what career choice he'd have in mind as a kid

Rodd says policing has changed significantly since his time as Chief

Rodd not only spent more than three decades as a police officer, but served 22 years with the Canadian Armed Forces and commanded a cadet training centre at CFB Borden.
