STRONG WINDS EXPECTED TONIGHT
10/7/2017 3:06:50 PM

Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for Peterborough, and the City of Kawartha Lakes.

The national weather agency says, as a cold front moves in tonight, winds could get quite gusty, and could be as strong as 80 km/h.

They say that winds of this magnitude can toss loose objects and cause injury or damage. Gusty winds can also damage soft shelters, tents and awnings.
