4/19/2017 6:56:56 AM

Peterborough is going to be spending some big dollars on energy-efficient LEDs for its nearly 7,000 streetlights.

Committee of the Whole met last night and approved plans to spend $4.5 million on the upgrades.

Kerry Wilson, the managing director of Realterm, gave a presentation to city councillors.

The installation could begin as early as this fall.

The plan will need to receive formal approval at the next meeting of city council next Monday.
