REMAINS FOUND IN OTONABEE RIVER
4/17/2017 7:56:21 PM

The search for a missing Peterborough man has come to a tragic end.

Early this afternoon, emergency crews rushed to the end of Mervin Line to investigate after a car was located in the Otonabee River, and a man's body was found inside.

Peterborough Police positively identified the remains as those of 88 year old Allison Turner.

Officials say that Mr. Turner's death does not appear to be suspicious and the coroner is now investigating.
