PETERBOROUGH BACK ON THE ANNUAL WORST ROADS LIST

After a month or so of voting, the CAA have tabulated the results and revealed the Worst Roads in Ontario. While no Peterborough roads made the province wide top 10 list, two made the top 5 in the East Region, Lansdowne Street came in 3rd and Otonabee Drive ranked 5th.

One of the attackers in the 2014 Time Square apartment shooting is waiting to be sentenced. Sentencing submissions, according to the Examiner, were delayed by a ?dispute about facts in the case? yesterday.

20 YEAR OLD CHARGED WITH ASSAULTING AN OLDER MAN

A 20 year old from Peterborough is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a man 13 years his senior. This past weekend a 33 year old man and a friend were walking in the George and Hunter Street area when a man, whom they know, began yelling obscenities at them.

POLICE LOOKING FOR CULPRITS INVOLVED IN A PAIR OF THEFTS

Police are on the hunt for suspects after both a home and business were targeted by thieves on Tuesday. First, culprits broke into a Wildlark Drive home sometime between 1:40pm and 2pm and made off with $5000 worth of jewelry.

LINDSAY MAN FACING EVEN MORE SEX CHARGES DATING BACK TO THE 80S

A 50 year old Lindsay man is facing additional charges in connection with an ongoing sexual assault investigation. The charges stem from incidents dating back to 1984 and ending in 1990; the offenses are said to have happened both in Lindsay and rural areas of the Kawarthas.

A break in at a Aylmer Street business has police looking for suspects. Investigators say that Peterborough Monument Works was broke into sometime between May 20th and May 24th.

MCDONELL STREET DISTURBANCE LEADS TO AN ARREST

A 30 year old Havelock man is facing charges following a disturbance at McDonell Street apartment. Police say the accused brandished a hammer at one of the male tenant in the building. Attending officers say the accused also had cocaine on him.

TWO TEENS FACE A SLEW OF CHARGES

An assault investigation has led to a slew of charges for a couple of local teens. Police say that a 16 year old was swimming in the Otonabee River at around 6 o'clock last night with friends near the train bridge near Lansdowne St East when he was verbally assaulted by the co-accused.
