The Peterborough Regional Health Centre has been recognized for its work helping out with housing for seniors. The health centre received a Leading Governance Excellence Award at a conference in Toronto for its teamwork with Peterborough Housing Corporation to help seniors in the community.

16 YEAR-OLD ARRESTED IN CONNECTION TO LOCAL BREAK-IN

A 16-year-old Peterborough teen has been charged following a residential break-in. On Monday, officers were called to an east-end home for reports of a broken window and a person walking away from the scene.

PETERBOROUGH MAN CHARGED IN ONLINE REAL ESTATE SCAM

A 45 year old Peterborough man is facing a slew of fraud charges. It's alleged that the accused had placed an online ad for a rental home in Peterborough, and collected first and last month's rent from post-secondary students while knowing that the home was either sold or foreclosed.

COUNCILLORS SUPPORT NEW APARTMENT BUILDING ON PATERSON STREET
